He is an old warhorse that refuses to be put out to pasture. He loves the action he got as a MSOG and misses it. He wants to still contribute to his beloved Federation and Starfleet. He love being an Marine it defines him. He is a devoted father and husband. His love of Corps and Family take center stage in the way he approaches his life. He is loyal to a fault. He has the confidence and experience that he wants to instill in the next generation of officers. He often takes new officers under his wing and teaches them how to be extraordinary.

History

Ador was born into a military family. His father was a commander of a counter terrorism unit in the Andorian Defense Force. His mother was a doctor in the Defense Force. He grew up in a very large family. All his brothers and sisters went on to join the Defense Force. Ador chose another path. He enlisted in the Starfleet Marines.
He completed basic and was so talented with weapons and hand to hand combat he was selected for the Special Operations Group tasked with counter terrorism. He stayed with the teams for ten years rising through the ranks to Gunnery Sargent, before the Dominion War.

During the war he was assigned to a long-range recon team. His team spent the war as eyes on intelligence for the Alliance. Just before the battle for Cardassia his team was ambushed and he was blinded. Their officer was killed and he was left to get them back to the LZ. Even blinded he kept his team alive and got them extracted.

Ador was returned to Andoria to re-cooperate. While there his mother an expert in cybernetic prostesis fitted him with a set of cybernetic eyes designed for Andorian physiology. While he was adjusting to the new eyes he met and married Tara.
For his bravery and years of faithful duty he was given a slot at the Marine Academy. He passed with flying colors in three years. He was then assigned to train the next generation of special operations Marines. He languished there for five more years until he was told he could never return to the teams. Command thought he had done his duty and should think of retiring.

Ador requested a platoon of Marines to command and got it. He was stationed on the USS Thor, an Excellsior class ship. He had a relatively uneventful time onboard, until the ship encountered a group of renegade Cardassians. During the battle his platoon was forced to clear the bridge of boarders however the ships tactical officer was killed. Ador took the station and continued to fire at the Cardassian ships till they were crippled. Captain Reynolds assigned him as acting chief tactical/security officer.

After two years Ador was ready for a new challenge and put in for a transfer. This time he was looking to be the Chief of Security/Tactical department.
